Sound of Scarborough

20 June 2026

Marking the launch of Sound of Scarborough Vol III - a night of original music from some of the Yorkshire Coast's finest purveyors of all genres.

NICK TUDOR
A well established and much-loved performer on the Yorkshire Coast music scene, Nick has the stage presence and the tunes to get any gig started with some serious energy - which is exactly what we've invited him to do at Recorded Delivery.

STARGAZER
A young band fresh from Scarborough Six Form's seemingly unlimited stream of exciting original music (The Limeys, Serial Killer Glasses, Em Gaskell...), Stargazer are firmly in the contemporary rock mould delivering original songs with committed performances.

BLACK WHITE SQUARE FORM
A 4-piece blending improvisation with post-rock dynamics drawing on influences as diverse as Krautrock and contemporary European jazz. Formed from members of The Limeys and Serial Killer Glasses this is a genuine 'no boundaries' approach to creating music. With a vibe that looks back to an era when Miles Davis was playing a heavy sonic stew supporting the Grateful Dead, you'll get something of an idea of how this band claim to be jazz and yet can also rock as hard as anyone else - we're very excited to see what they do with unique acoustics of the Old Parcels Office.

BAD PANDA
Returning to the live scene and with a slew of new recordings after a 13 year hiatus, it appears that this high-energy rock band are delivering the goods better than ever. Tight rhythms, gritty vocals, punchy hooks and a true joy of performing - they're everything you'd want when someone plugs in an electric guitar and cranks up the amp. Their 'Don't Tell' EP is out now plus they feature on our 'Sound of Scarborough Vol.3' vinyl LP which will be launched at this gig.

NALGO BAY
Whether you come to hear the Stevie Nicks-esque vocals of lead singer Terri-Ann or the tight rhythmic punch of Harry and Jon (vocals/guitar and drums respectively), you'll be staying for the story-rich songwriting that's at their heart.
