The Old Parcels Office was originally the first class waiting room at Scarborough Station. Later it became the hub for parcel deliveries and shipments. It is now primarily an art gallery and exhibition space, but also supports a programme of music gigs within the larger of the two galleries. The building is replete with original features including sandstone fireplaces, glazed brick walls and stunning ceiling lanterns - allowing daylight to flood the space. The building was brought back into use by Scarborough Studios CIO and opened as the Old Parcels Office Artspace in 2021. In 2025, the venue a couple of days availability during Scarborough Fringe - in between an exhibition and music festival.
