The Pine Hill Haints made a lasting impression at Filey Americana Festival, so we had to bring them to the OPO, joined by Yorkshire’s own Serious Sam Barrett. Formed in a cemetery, the Haints fuse country, rockabilly, and blues into their signature 'Alabama Ghost Country'. Their latest album, The Song Companion of a Lonestar Cowboy, takes listeners on a journey through Americana, blending Cajun rhythms, Sun Records-style country, and swampy blues. With echoes of Johnny Cash and John Lee Hooker, the Haints breathe new life into lost musical traditions with raw energy and passion. Don’t miss them!
