Moonlight on the Lake is a journey around the beautiful Peasholm Park, celebrating the heritage of Scarborough and the park itself with hundreds of handmade lanterns and illuminations reflecting on the surface of the water.

Organised by North Yorkshire Council and working in partnership with Animated Objects, this is an opportunity for people to explore the park as night draws in, and enjoy a magical experience for all ages!

Please respect other people’s personal space and be careful using paths near the water. We ask that you please do not touch the lanterns during your visit to the park.

Adult tickets are £3 (plus 50p booking fee), whilst children aged 15 and under are FREE! Please note that all children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult and a maximum 6 children per adult.

Last entry slot at 8.30pm, entry gates close at 9pm, event closes at 9.30pm.

Well-behaved dogs on a lead may attend this event. However, please note that the event may be quite busy with a high level of footfall, so some dogs may not feel comfortable in that environment.
