In this workshop, participants create percussion instruments using upcycled materials and learn basic rhythms to be able to form a percussion group which can then join the parade at the festival.

The two artists guide participants to make shakers from bottles and rice and also drums from old paint pots etc. Participants are welcome to bring bottles and tubs etc to use.

There will be 45 minutes to make the instruments, a break, and then 45 minutes to learn the beats and create a parade rhythm.
