This exhibition is a declaration of self-reclamation, empowerment, and transformation. Through sculptural textiles, self-portraiture, painting, and poetry, Victoria explores the body, intimacy, and liberation - challenging perceptions of beauty, vulnerability, and power.
As a Deaf artist, my work confronts visibility, misinterpretation, and the fight to be heard. I reclaim control of my image, challenging the male gaze and ableism. Collage, sculpture, and painting explore identity, objectification, and empowerment. At its core, this exhibition is about breaking silence and reclaiming space for those who have been unseen or unheard.
