DURO! explores the spiritual and emotional world of an Abiku — a child who oscillates between life and death. After twelve cycles of birth and return, Duro is determined to stay with her mother in the human world.

Her exceptional singing gift, however, is deeply missed in the spirit realm. When Jankariwo, her otherworldly husband, comes to reclaim her for the rare Festival of the Red Moon, Duro faces a powerful internal conflict. The play blends poetry, movement, live rhythms, and symbolic staging, immersing audiences in a world where destiny and free will collide.
