Arts Coven are running the Make A Parade project to create a Big, Bright and Noisy community parade. This will be a short walking parade within the town centre at the end of the festival on the Sunday afternoon, 12th October, at 3.30pm.
They are looking for people to join the parade and want to invite groups and individuals from the whole community to take part. Local community groups, businesses, arts projects, theatre groups, dance schools, musicians etc. as well as creatives and performers who are already part of the upcoming Scarborough Fair festivals are invited to be part of the parade.
We think this is a great opportunity to showcase all our community has to offer. If you would like to find out more about joining in please fill in this form.

As part of this project, there will be recycled craft workshops, to create something to make a noise, or something big and colourful to wear or carry in the parade. During Autumn Streets there will be free drop-in workshops and we are hoping to run another free session in advance of the festival which will be open to everyone who has expressed an interest in participating in the parade. In addition there will be an opportunity for a limited number of groups to book private workshops in the run up to the festival.
