Ralf from the Belgian Theatre Company Blissja and his clown Pete will joyfully join this year’s Scarborough Autumn Streets Festival.
On behalf of the Royal Clown Research Academy (RCRA), Pete, Ralf’s clown, is conducting fundamental research about something extraordinary: The human phenomenon of sparkling eyes. You will find him walking through the festival streets, trying to find out if anyone has sparkles in their eyes and how they have gotten in there. In case he finds someone without sparkles, the research question is of course: where they are hiding?!
You can certainly expect this clown research being conducted extremely clown rigorous, following the three fundamental principles of clown research: (1) Don’t know what you’re doing, (2) be baffled about everything and of course (3) create as many mistakes as possible. Allow him to analyse your eyes for an in-depth sparkle assessment and find out with him how make more of them.
