Shelter is an immersive light art work by the Dutch light artist Jaap van den Elzen. Visitors are invited to enter the installation and to interact with it. They even become part of it as in a performance, with the installation serving as a stage. Are they mere spectators or do they become actors? In the dark, Shelter changes into an immersive dialogue of sound and colour. It becomes a refuge, where passers-by can escape the hustle of the city for a while and take a moment to catch their breath.
