Come and experience ten minute performances within the beautiful Aquarium of Light.

The Aquarium of Light transforms the bandstand at the beautiful Sun Court at the Scarborough Spa into a community light installation with themes from the sea. Featuring as its centrepiece a sculpture commissioned from a local artist, five large panels, inspired by ideas such as Erosion, Preservation, Rescue and Reflection and produced by local community groups will create an inspiring and striking scene.

At the advertised dates and times, a ten-minute interactive performance designed by the fabulous Dance Ahead will bring the Aquarium of Light alive with professional dancers, lights, soundscapes and music enhancing this magical installation and further exploring themes of the sea.

In the event of rain – the audience will stand under cover – but rain, or not – wrap up warm!
