Hip Hop/DJing/Beatboxing performances/workshops

Make A Scene is a Hip Hop open mic which runs once a month at The Crescent Bar, welcoming MCs, producers and beatboxers to come and showcase their music. It has been home to some great local talent over the past 6 months and has also led to collaborations and networking opportunities for artists who have attended.
During these open mics, there is a cypher section at the end each event for MCs to gather round and freestyle back to back for as long as they can last whilst a DJ mixes hip hop instrumentals.
A similar event will be taking place on Westborough during Scarborough Extreme, for people to come and freestyle or to come up and perform some of their own music. A DJ will also be playing old school UK hip hop/ instrumental Hip Hop between demos.
